Salary: $88,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or to join our team as a Skilled Nursing Unit Manager .

In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management.

Key Responsibilities



* Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.



* Manage the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing unit.



* Ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations.



* Monitor and maintain compliance with CMS guidelines, state regulations, and accreditation standards.



* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.



* Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.



* Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and training.



* Oversee resident care plans, clinical documentation, and quality outcomes.



* Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.



* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness activities.

Qualifications



* Current and active RN or LPN license in the state.



* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.



* Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.



* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills .



* Thorough knowledge of nursing regulations, survey processes, and clinical best practices.



* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
