Your Role: Strategic Account Manager (Indonesia)

As a Strategic Account Manager (SAM), you will lead and motivate sales staff to achieve exceptional business outcomes across Indonesia.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving selling execution excellence, supervising strategic selling processes, and advancing Elanco’s market leadership through deep customer insights and relationship management.

Your Responsibilities:


* Lead, develop, and coach sales staff (internal or channel partners) to achieve desired business outcomes and foster a high-performance culture.


* Drive selling execution excellence by supervising targeting effectiveness, pre-call planning, and consultative selling (CVS) processes.


* Cultivate deep customer relationships and leverage in-depth knowledge of market dynamics to influence business decisions at a Business Unit level.


* Manage strategic account management (SAM) frameworks to ensure forecast accuracy and optimal resource allocation.


* Collaborate cross-functionally to package Value Beyond Product (VBP) and product brands into compelling offerings for key stakeholders.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Business preferred)


* Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management or account management within the Animal Health industry


* Proven expertise in Strategic Account Management (SAM) and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):


* Demonstrated success in Consultative Value Selling (CVS) and complex negotiations


* Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret market data into actionable business plans


* Experience managing and motivating channel partner sales organizations


* Advanced understanding of the Indonesian animal health market and competitive landscape


* Excellent English communication and presentation skills
