Assembly Program Manager
Summary
The Assembly Program Manager will serve as an automation and assembly specialist overseeing the process concepts & estimating, design, construction, and implementation of assembly equipment. Directs activities concerned with implementation of assembly tooling to fulfill the production requirements for new programs and product launches.

Job Duties
* Document and maintain policies and procedures for assembly equipment estimating
* Estimate costs, production times, and / or staffing requirements for new designs
* Direct and coordinate planning and implementation of product or tool designs ensuring compliance with specifications and codes
* Reviews and approves assembly tooling vendors’ proposed designs and processes and follows equipment through all phases of development
* Reviews vendor progress to assure adherence to schedules and timelines, modifies or changes methodology or redirects activities as necessary to attain objectives within time and cost limits
* Assist in the creation, modification and testing of products and processes
* Assist in interpreting engineering drawings for production personnel
* Assist in the development, evaluation, improvement and documentation of manufacturing processes
* Assist in the development and implementation of process control techniques and procedures
* Assist in the creation and review of FMEAs and Control Plans
* Perform root cause and failure analysis, as required
* Provide expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems
* Inspect products and processes to identify areas of improvement
* Operate computer assisted engineering and design software
* Create technical reports, documentation, calculations and sketches
* Assist with troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical/ product issues in the manufacturing of products
* Maintain up-to-date engineering knowledge and stay current with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
* Diploma in Engineering Technology or related experience
* Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience
* Strong working knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, Statistical Process, and Machine Controls
