Maintenance Team Leader 2nd Shift

* Actively performing job duties as required in Maintenance Technician position


* Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures


* Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping presses


* Modify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomics


* Perform preventative maintenance


* Assesses and prioritizes work requests and ensures material required for the work is available


* Follows up on work orders to ensure job specifications (quality and quantity) and time lines are met


* Coordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facility


* Communicate with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shift


* Understand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls


* Monitor team members progress throughout the shift


* Ensure all employees are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard work


* Main contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/ or General Manager


* Perform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance Manager


* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas


* Ensure the application of all Flex-N-Gate’s safety policies and procedures


* Provide necessary training and instruction to others


* Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the workday


* Assist with completing reports for all safety issues, work place injuries and environmental incidents immediately upon notification
