About This Role:
ContainerPort Group, a World Group company, is currently looking for a dedicated, driven person to join our family as a Regional Director for our growing operations in the North Atlantic Region!
The Regional Director is responsible for supporting and developing our Terminal Managers and their teams in field Operations.
The focus will be on reviewing all operational aspects of our business and holding those accountable for efficiency, profitability, and growth goals.
This role is responsible for cascading the executive vision to the field to achieve our goals and maintain our core values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review Safety KPI’s with the TMs on improvements and recognition in areas performing well and develop a plan/execute in area’s needing improvement
* Work closely with TMs, mentoring, supporting, and providing servant leadership
* Review P&L financials to what was budgeted and where we currently stand (including GP, NOI, and NI)
* Coach TMs in recognizing and developing others
* Work closely with team members to resolve challenges in a limited time
* Build local relationships with ICs to improve retention and drive referrals
* Work closely with sales to develop new business through existing customers, expanding new lanes and increasing volume
* Stay knowledgeable about the market and work with sales to gain new opportunities
