The Site Utility Manager leads all aspects of our site-wide utility infrastructure.

This strategic leadership role is the owner of mission-critical assets, including our high-voltage electrical substation, an integrated microgrid, centralized thermal heating/cooling, and emergency power systems.

This position is responsible for building and leading the team that will operate and maintain our new private substation and microgrid in addition to other energy utility infrastructure site wide.

The Senior Manager will also serve as the user lead for related design and construction projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and resilient power delivery for our mission-critical operations.

This role assumes full responsibility for the long-term maintenance of all energy utilities after project completion and commissioning.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities



* Project Leadership 
+ Serve as the user team lead on all design and construction projects for energy utilities.
+ Represent Site Operation’s interests in all design and engineering engagements for large site wide utility projects. 
+ Articulate technical and maintenance requirements for utility systems.

Review and validate technical drawings and specifications by project teams.
+ Lead stakeholders and champion for key construction milestones and commissioning activities, ensuring internal and regulatory safety compliance. 
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders, including R&D organization, Site Automation, etc, to ensure sitewide utilities meet the demands of critical stakeholders.
+ Guide the development of standards and specifications for all utility infrastructure and generation systems, including the microgrid, with consideration for predictive analytics and demand response.
+ Following commissioning, oversee all aspects of the ownership and long-term maintenance of the energy utilities to ensure reliability and performance.
