Key Responsibilities


* Manage scale for all inbound/outbound trucks and ensure proper documentation is given to docks and drivers (bill of ladings, unloading tallies, etc.).


* Create accurate receipts and shipments in the CRS database for all on-site inbound/outbound loads.


* Ensure shipment paperwork is accurate, matching shipment orders before sending documentation to the customer in a timely manner.


* Coordinates transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.


* Assists in daily logistic account activities as well as in the auditing of invoices and setup of accounts for payment.


* Maintains inventory and coordinates freight shipments and document preparation.


* Reviews purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.


* Tracks and troubleshoots shipping errors.


* Performs physical inventories and cycle counts, and orders materials and supplies as needed.

Reconciles inventory discrepancies and updates the inventory system when necessary.


* May assist with identifying improvement opportunities across the site, including in the inventory and counting processes.


* May perform accounting support activities.


* May assist with transportation scheduling and warehouse operations.


* Incorporates and ensures safety observances are met, including use of all PPE by colleagues, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits, etc.


* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses a high school diploma and up to 2 years of relevant experience.


* Experience managing scale for all inbound/outbound trucks is a plus

Knowledge and Skills


* Good customer service skills.


* Effective written and oral communication skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and deadlines.


* Basic knowledge of accounting practices.


* Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.


* Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $21.01 - $35.82.

Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $23.00 to $25.00.
