Summary - basic function of the role
The Senior IT Infra structure Engineer is a pivotal member of the IT team, responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure services across global enterprise environments.
This role demands deep expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, advanced virtualization (VMware), enterprise storage, basic network infrastructure knowledge , and disaster recovery planning.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong technical acumen, and hands-on experience managing complex, hybrid IT environments.
This role supports critical business systems and drives innovation across core infrastructure platforms including Enterprise Linux systems (RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu), SAN/NAS solutions, VMware vSphere/vCenter, Enterprise backup and DR solutions, Basic knowledge of networking .
The engineer will collaborate with global IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure highly available and compliant infrastructure aligned with corporate and security standards.
