Design Manager

Artful Home is an ecommerce brand built around original, handmade art and design from independent artists and makers.

We're looking for a Design Manager to lead our design team and set the creative direction across site, email, and paid social.

As our Design Manager, you'll lead a team of three designers while staying hands-on, serving as the brand's creative filter so that every customer touchpoint looks and feels unmistakably Artful Home.

You'll keep a fast-moving promotional calendar on track, direct our AI-generated imagery, and partner with Product on site UX/UI improvements.

What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of three graphic designers, including workload planning, coaching, and mentorship Own digital design across site, email, and paid social, balancing hands-on work with final creative review Deliver weekly site promo assets and lead the monthly homepage refresh and seasonal updates, including banners, pop-ups, gift guides, and holiday launches Direct AI image art, sourcing, cropping, and QA'ing about 30 images per month for brand and background consistency Design paid social creative and lifecycle emails (welcome, re-engagement, and evergreen flows), partnering with Marketing, Retention, and freelance resources Partner with Product on UX/UI site improvements, delivering on-brand work on schedule against the product roadmap
