Emergency Vehicle Systems Specialist

Dana Safety Supply, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Emergency Vehicle Systems Specialist to join our team.

This position is responsible for reviewing and verifying sales orders for accuracy, designing emergency vehicle electrical output configurations, and creating custom wire harness solutions for vehicle upfitting projects.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, electrical systems knowledge, and the ability to work closely with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate and efficient vehicle builds.

Schedule Monday through FridayFull-timeDay shift Will consider remote work for this position.

Responsibilities Review and verify sales orders for accuracy and completenessConfirm correct parts, components, and configurations prior to sales order submissionDesign and configure emergency vehicle output and control systemsCreate and document custom wire harness layouts and wiring schematicsAssist with electrical load planning and system integrationCoordinate with sales and production departments to resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate build documentation and revision recordsSupport troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during productionEnsure all work meets company quality standards and customer specifications Qualifications Experience with 12V automotive electrical systems preferredKnowledge of emergency vehicle equipment and upfitting processes preferredAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematicsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with computers and technical documentationAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Experience Wire harness design experienceExperience with Police, Fire, EMS, or Fleet vehicle equipmentFamiliarity with lighting, siren, radio, systemsWhelen Engineering,Federal Signal, andSoundOff Signalprogramming experience is a plusCAD or electrical design software experience is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experienceRobust benefits plan to include Health, Dental & Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Paternity Leave, Paid Time Off, and more.401(k) & RothPaid holidays and vacationOpportunities for growth and advancementTeam-oriented work environment About Dana Safety Supply Founded in 2005, Dana Safety Supply is a national leader in public safety equipment with over 55 locations across 18 states.
