Job Responsibilities


* Provide patient treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist


* Complete accurate daily documentation and weekly progress reports


* Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas


* Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed


* Implement physician-directed treatment plans and communicate patient progress with the care team


* Report equipment concerns to ensure safe and effective operation


* Educate families and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training prior to discharge

Qualifications


* Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
