Ashland has an exciting opportunity for Material Coordinator II to join our (Ashland LLC, Specialty ingredients business at our Calvert City.

This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Material Coordinator II function.

This position will report to the Logistics Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:



* Include some of the following:


* Working knowledge of shipping and recycling


* Hands-on experience using Microsoft products and SAP

What This Role Is Not:



* Not a management position - while you will collaborate with other team members, this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports


* Not only about R&D - A large portion of your time will be dedicated to iterating on existing products and optimizing formulations based on customer feedback and performance data

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:



* A minimum of a High School degree


* 3-5 years in Logistics supporting on time shipping


* 1-2 years working with SAP or other MRP software


* Physical Requirements: able to lift 50 pounds


* License/Cert: 49CFR/IMDG/IATA preferred


* Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times


* The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:



* SAP experience


* Logistics experience preferred


* IMDG/49CFR/IATA
