Are you a creative "people person" who loves bringing joy to others? All Saints Subacute & Transitional Care is seeking a high-energy Activity Assistant to join our life-enrichment team.

In this role, you will help our residents stay connected, active, and engaged through a variety of fun and meaningful programs.

The Opportunity:



* Position: Full-Time (Activity Assistant)

* Rate: Starting at $19.00 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities:



* Program Execution: Participate in planning and leading individual, small-group, and large-group activities designed to spark interest and joy.


* Community Planning: Help design the monthly activity calendar and maintain accurate attendance records for our programs.


* Resident Engagement: Encourage residents to participate in self-initiated hobbies (reading, crafts, hobbies) and provide specialized materials like Braille or audiobooks as needed.


* Care Collaboration: Participate in resident assessments and care planning to ensure our activities meet the specific interests and needs of each individual.


* Facility Advocacy: Assist in providing clear communication between staff, residents, and families to ensure the best interests of our community are met.


* Logistics & Safety: Assist in arranging resident transportation for outings and appointments, and ensure the Activity Department remains clean, organized, and secure.

Qualifications:



* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.


* Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or subacute facility is preferred, but we welcome all creative and compassionate applicants!


* Personality: Must be energetic, patient, and have a genuine "heart for seniors."


* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate others to participate.
