SoftwareTesting: White Box (High Tech) - Senior Professional

Mission: Being part of Schneider Electric energy management R&D Center in India, you are responsible to provide more insights which will help business to the selling of Schneider Electric products/solutions and services.

Profile: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Selenium/ playwright/ cypress with any of the languages java/ typescript/ javascript, along with a solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile practices, and collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities


* Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.


* Write, manage, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.


* Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.


* Develop and maintain API test automation using Karate or RestAssured.


* Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


* Contribute to setting up QA processes and best practices.


* Work in close coordination with international teams.


* Understand and contribute to Agile processes.


* Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, and release planning.


* Continuously improve testing strategies and tools.

* Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.


* Develop and maintain API test automation using Karate or RestAssured.


* Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.


* Contribute to establishing and refining QA processes and best practices.


* Work closely with international teams and support global deliverables.


* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, and release planning.


* Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and automation efficiency.


* Playwright and GitHub Copilot experience is preferred.
