In this role, you will provide technical leadership and execution, and be supporting HPE’s mission-critical customers, providing pre-installation configuration, technical strategies and direction, on-site integration, administration, and external customer enablement.
The HPC environment includes multiple components such as operating systems (OS), workload managers, high-speed networks, clustered file systems, and HPC cluster managers.
As part of this role, you will work within a collaborative team environment where teamwork is essential.
All team members are expected to be action oriented, maintain composure and contribute to the success of the project.
This includes project planning and management, sharing knowledge, coordinating efforts, and ensuring smooth execution.
This role requires:
Top Secret Clearance, TS/SCI preferred
US citizenship is required
Security+ and Linux+ certification required
Location: Work Daily Onsite (Fulltime) Dayton, OH
Not a remote role
Responsibilities:
     
* Manage and maintain the HPC solution availability to the customer by monitoring system health and hygiene of compute, storage, high-speed network fabric and cooling elements to maintain system operations.
This includes daily analysis of outputs and capacity.
     
* Review, resolve, and respond to client tickets in a timely manner.
     
* Gather data, perform analysis, create and elevate HPE technical cases on unresolved issues to higher-level product SMEs and support groups and management as necessary to ensure timely resolution while ensuring accurate documentation.
     
* Engage and actively manage technical support requests to ensure timely resolution and case closure within service level agreement (SLA) timelines, maintaining system availability.
     
* Diagnose and resolve system hardware, software, and third-party application issues, providing detailed and thoughtful analysis of problems and solutions.
