Full-time, Part-time, and PRN (as needed) opportunities available

Compensation Rate: $48-$55 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Job summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to residents.

The COTA assists in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and helping residents improve their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities


* Implement and execute individualized treatment plans for residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.


* Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including training in activities of daily living (ADLs), functional skills, and the use of adaptive equipment.


* Help residents reach their maximum performance level and function within their capabilities.


* Monitor and accurately document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.


* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.


* Instruct residents, their families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs for discharge.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment, including the large, on-site gym.


* Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Qualifications


* Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.


* Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license or certification.
