About the role

 

Are you a passionate go-getter with a hunger to drive results and win business? As an Business Development Manager – MICE, you'll be at the forefront of our sales initiatives, working to convert leads and secure business from both domestic and international markets.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of our hotel’s MICE business, working with our proactive resort team based in Sydney, IHG National and Global Sales Teams while driving revenue and performance through strategic planning, negotiation, and market engagement.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating compelling sales proposals, negotiating group rates, pitching unique food and beverage offerings alongside an array of activities on the Great Barrier Reef —all aligned with the hotel’s broader sales strategies.

You’ll drive sales while building and maintaining lasting relationships with decision-makers, travel planners, and key stakeholders.

Your ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and ensure client expectations are met will be crucial in maximizing revenues.
