Accounting Process Owner BeNe

Location: Uccle, Belgium or Hoofddorp, Netherlands

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Process Owner (Business Process Owner - BPO) to lead the formalization, harmonization, and automation of accounting processes across Belgium and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:


* Map and document existing accounting processes across BeNe.


* Identify opportunities for harmonization and improvement.


* Lead transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.


* Collaborate with chief accountants, P2P and RTR teams, IT, and internal control.


* Implement automation solutions and ERP enhancements.


* Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.


* Define and monitor KPIs to measure process performance.


* Manage and develop a team of six professionals.

Your Profile:


* Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.


* 5-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or internal control.


* Team leadership experience is a plus.


* Strong knowledge of P2P and RTR processes and ERP systems (SAP).


* Excellent analytical and communication skills.


* Fluency in English and French or Dutch.
