Quality Technician- Calibration

Your Job

This position is responsible for calibrating and maintaining the systems used to determine quality of product that Molex makes.

This position is very crucial in preventing defective product from getting to our customers.

What You Will Do

Calibrate and or facilitate calibration of gages and equipment used for quality assessment and production.

Control and track gaging using gage tracking software

Develop and write procedures for calibration of gages and equipment.

Develop process for assessment of new gaging systems to include gage R&Rs and other statistical tools as prescribed in AIAG MSA manual.

Create golden samples for online gage verification for production.

Create measurement routines on computerized measurement devices.

Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices.

Communication skills with both internal and external customers.

Support purchase requisitions for Quality System needs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Experience performing quality inspections and measurements within a manufacturing environment.

Blue-Print Reading Skills, Knowledge of hand measurement gages.

Proficient in computer spreadsheets, word processors, and various other computer applications.

Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.

What Will Put You Ahead

Associates degree in a quality or mechanical area preferred

Solid GD&T knowledge, Programming capabilities for computer-controlled measurement systems.

Previous MSA Gage R&R experience

Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment.

Programming of electronic measurement equipment.

Experience with CAD.
