As a Banqueting Head Chef your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing) …


* Oversees kitchen operations, including production, cleanliness and safe work systems in our Banqueting kitchen


* Ensures timely delivery of high-quality food for guests at conferences and events (events for up to 600 seated for dinner service), consistently exceeding expectations


* Encourages and supports the team, fostering a fun, positive, and creative work environment whilst coaching and developing ambitious individuals

We are searching for a true service superstar, someone who thrives in providing our Guests with an excellent service throughout their stay.

In addition to this, we are looking for someone who has….


* To have been a Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef for 1-2 years within a hotel of comparable size and complexity.


* To be experienced in local cuisine, with practical experience of at least one other cuisine and experience catering large functions


* Has knowledge of appropriate working to brand standards relating to food and the ability to create and deliver appropriate menus, using appropriate suppliers and product


* Is part of external networks and is up to date with critical issues and trends in food


* Has the technical skills to work on every section within a busy banqueting kitchen when needed


* As a minimum, must have completed level 3 Food Safety certification and have knowledge in HACCP
