Your Role: Data Analyst - Pet Retail Dispensing & Inventory

As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Pet Retail team to deliver sales of Elanco's products through retail channels.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ingesting Pet Retail Dispensing sales and inventory data, defining, adhering to, and documenting processes for data analysis, mapping, integration, and quality assurance, and working with a high degree of autonomy under minimal supervision.

Your Responsibilities:


* Data Management: Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from downloading and processing weekly/monthly dispensing data to validating, loading it into Azure, troubleshooting issues, and performing regression analysis.


* Alteryx Workflow Maintenance and Development: Maintain and update existing Alteryx intake formats for numerous customers, create new formats as needed, and design/implement recurring reports and data uploads for analysis.


* Technical Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: Bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation by translating requirements for dispensing database updates and enhancements for technical teams.


* Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate product master updates to relevant teams (IT and Category Shopper) and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely data submission.


* Proactive Data Monitoring and Quality Assurance: Continuously monitor data integrity (especially PetSmart data), promptly escalate and resolve discrepancies, and maintain the Master X-Ref Source File for accurate product information in Salesforce.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years of equivalent experience in data management.


* Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, including merging, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets.


* Advanced proficiency in English and experience using Microsoft.
