Technician, Pipeline (Egypt, AR)

The Pipeline Technician is also responsible for:


* Performs terminal and station operations by coordinating with Pipeline Control and other affiliates to ensure timely, safe, and quality controlled handling of products.


* Tank gauging, manifold line up, development of paperwork, and log/record information related to inventories and quality control.


* Operation of process-related equipment, preventative maintenance of equipment, and product quality sampling.


* Testing, basic product accounting, product measurement, and working with flammable hydrocarbons and conventional products.


* Must be knowledgeable of environmental regulations and company policy concerning handling and disposal of hazardous substances.


* Participates in available cross training to effectively develop skills in areas specific to other operators and technicians.


* Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices inside and outside of the facilities.


* Attend all safety meetings and complete safety training courses as required.


* Performing or assisting with routine maintenance of electric motors, pumps such as bearing and mechanical seal replacements, alignments, couplings, sumps, fans, drain piping modifications, etc.


* Maintenance on other mechanical equipment such as block valves, control valves, air compressors, valve actuators (electric and manual), etc.


* Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.


* Maintain and operate custody transfer measurement facilities and perform product quality control tests.


* Participate and successfully complete training programs, process safety management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations.


* Must meet the requirements of the Company's Operator Qualification program.


* Reviews procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.
