Nemours has over a 20-year history of providing IPC services in our network of Nemours pediatric primary clinics throughout the state of Delaware, and we are excited to expand our team.
This full-time position involves delivering clinical services to our network of Delaware Nemours pediatric primary care clinics with in-person and virtual service delivery opportunities available.
The Behavioral Health Therapist in this role will serve as a Family Check-Up® Online Navigator on a research study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Pediatricians Building Resilience through Early Identification for Toddler Well-Being(Peds-BRITE).
As a Family Check-Up® Online Navigator, the clinician will lead service delivery for an online intervention delivered to caregivers of toddlers identified as being at-risk for mental health concerns.
The Navigator will play a vital role in helping families engage with the online intervention and apply parenting strategies.
In addition to the Navigator role, the Behavioral Health Therapist in this position will provide consultation and intervention for youth from birth to 21 who are referred by their Nemours primary care medical provider.
Specifically, the therapist will provide clinical services to sites with an extended waitlist, high volumes of referrals, or where group interventions are provided.
There are opportunities to train primary care Behavioral Health and medical providers as well as participate in research activities.
