We are searching for a motivated & experienced Production Waste Technician
Production Waste Technician collects and weighs dough from the production and packing lines in order to account for waste dough.
Operates forklift and electric pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move waste or packed materials.
The individual must perform the following duties
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: include the following
* Must observe all abnormalities on the lines where excess scrap is being generated and report to production supervision as necessary.
* Must reset the waste dough scales and know all of the equipment’s required functions, including all individual scales as well as the floor scale.
* Must be able to oversee all waste collection paperwork pertinent to the required locations and submit the reports on time.
* Must be able to distinguish the difference between the various types and areas of waste collection so all data is properly recorded.
* Be able to operate the waste module lift into the waste trailers to dump all full containers.
* Must monitor and complete the Waste Dough Confirmation report to ensure all waste trailers are filled to the proper required weight and that they are not overweight.
* Monitor all buckets containing flour for dusting and fill as necessary.
* Sift all accumulated flour that is not contaminated using the electrical sifters and forklift machine to recycle the flour.
* Work closely with QC checkers and line leads to identify the types of waste and do root cause analysis.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement culture.
* Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings.).
* Informs supervision of any problems or complications that may arise
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required

In this role, you will provide integrity-based leadership for the execution of capital projects from conceptualization through operational performance testing.
You will be responsible for leading project teams in the development and implementation of projects using the Georgia-Pacific project work process and front-end loading.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Proficiency in technical/mechanical specifications and drawings.
• Experience with PC software systems and CAD drafting.
