Housekeeping Lead - Seasonal, Merchant Ski Pass, Sign-on Bonus

Position Summary: The Housekeeping Lead supports daily housekeeping execution and serves as a working lead for assigned Retreatia properties, helping ensure accommodations are clean, safe, well presented, and guest ready on schedule.

The role performs housekeeping duties while coordinating daily assignments, supporting and coaching housekeepers, completing quality inspections, communicating property-readiness status, resolving routine workflow issues, and escalating maintenance, staffing, safety, or service concerns.

The Housekeeping Lead models Retreatia standards and helps the team deliver consistent quality and an excellent guest experience.

Essential Responsibilities: Lead by example while cleaning and preparing assigned guest accommodations and property areas according to Retreatia standards, checklists, quality expectations, and established turnover timelines.Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments and priorities for assigned properties or team members; communicate changes related to departures, arrivals, priority cleans, deep cleans, and special requests.Perform and support turnover, stayover, deep-clean, common-area, and special cleaning work, including bed making, linen replacement, cleaning and sanitizing guest spaces, and replenishing approved amenities.Inspect completed housekeeping work for cleanliness, presentation, linen and amenity standards, property readiness, damage, maintenance needs, safety hazards, and other quality concerns; coordinate corrections before guest arrival when possible.Provide on-the-job guidance, task clarification, and coaching to housekeepers on cleaning methods, property standards, safe-work practices, productivity expectations, and use of housekeeping systems and checklists.Monitor turnover progress and property-readiness status throughout the shift; update company systems, communicate delays or risks, reassign routine work within delegated authority, and escalate staffing or timing issues promptly.Protect guest privacy, owner belongings, keys, access credentials, company property, and confidential information; ensure lost-and-found items and unusual property conditions are handled according to procedure.Coordinate with housekeeping management, operations, maintenance, and guest-service teams regarding property readiness, early arrivals, late departures, maintenance needs, priority cleans, service recovery, and other time-sensitive issues.Help maintain housekeeping carts, closets, linens, amenities, supplies, and equipment at appropriate levels; identify shortages, support inventory counts and distribution, and report purchasing or equipment needs.
