Acts as an internal desk-based liaison between customers and other staff within PMI.

Continually works to expand customer share of existing accounts by providing expert knowledge of our products and services.

Develops and maintains a good reporting structure for all sales personnel via Salesforce.

Assists with commercial sale accounts, and/or product groups under direction of outside sales managers.

Understands and utilizes PMI sales process and sales systems.

Supports sales staff to proactively engage existing customers, increase sales, and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities


* Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment


* Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, management, and general public


* Answer all customer inquiries to assist in closing the sale in coordination with appropriate sales personnel


* Provide timely responses to all customer requests for quotes by communicating effectively with internal staff.


* Ensure all correspondences and communications are conducted in a professional manner; consistent with corporate policies


* Enter sales orders and/or quotes for sales representatives


* Process payments for CODs.


* Provide timely sales support to all internal and external sales personnel including but not limited to providing updates on customer sales orders, inventory inquiries and other information as required


* Resolve customer complaints / problems with the appropriate department


* Must possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, customers, and general public.

Requirements


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


* Knowledge of Sales Force is preferable.


* Understanding of PMI sales processes and systems is preferable.
