JOB SUMMARY
Oversees building and equipment including safety and environmental initiatives of the facility.

This position also monitors building operations and systems including the security, access controls, fire alarms as well as energy consumption for budgeting and reduction in energy usage.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


* Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.


* Oversees maintenance department to ensure equipment and facilities are running smoothly to aid in production goals, acting as a liaison between the Maintenance Department and Management to ensure objectives are clearly communicated and met


* Preventative Maintenance Program: Own, develop, and oversee the preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability, maximize operational efficiency, and minimize unplanned downtime.


* Maintenance Downtime Metrics: Monitor, analyze, and report maintenance-related downtime metrics, identifying trends, root causes, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement and reduce equipment downtime.


* Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.


* Participate in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.


* Participate in the preparation and administration of the facility maintenance budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures; prepare cost estimates; submit justifications for equipment; monitor budget expenditures.
