Center Specialist Location: 765 South Buchanan Street, Fremont, OH 43420 Schedule: Monday - Friday Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Year-RoundFull-Time Summary: Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned site(s).

Experience: At least one year of experience in early childhood education or a related field.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Experience using word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and database software preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage, direct and monitor the daily operation of assigned site(s) in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Ohio Early Learning Standards, ODJFS Licensing, Step Up to Quality, NAEYC, and policies and procedures.In partnership with Teacher Coach, ensure teaching staff utilize and implement Conscious Discipline, the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD and demonstrate progress towards established school readiness goals.

Ensure teaching staff develop and implement weekly lesson plans that incorporate parent engagement, individualization, IFSP/IEP goals, and multi-cultural and multi-lingual support.Support teacher-child interactions and ensure children are provided a variety of opportunities that prompt investigation and offer reflection and critical thinking skills.Ensure a regular schedule for conducting classroom observations; assist with making arrangements for classroom support; ensure progress is made towards established goals.Ensure timely completion and entry of screening and assessment data including; AS...
