CL Marketing Specialist | Poultry

The Poultry Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the marketing and rating process for new business and renewal accounts requiring remarketing within the poultry and agribusiness department.

This individual works closely with producers, account executives, account managers, and carrier partners to gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, obtain competitive quotes, and identify appropriate coverage solutions.

For new business, the specialist manages the process from initial submission through binding, policy issuance, and transition to the assigned account manager.

For renewal business, the specialist coordinates remarketing efforts, evaluates carrier quotes, and provides completed proposals to the assigned account manager to finalize with the client.

This role requires specialized knowledge of poultry operations, carrier rating systems, and agribusiness insurance markets, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple marketing opportunities at once.

Work Performed Intake & Underwriting Preparation Manages the intake of new business marketing requests and renewal remarketing opportunities from producers, account executives, and account managers.Gathers and reviews underwriting information, including applications, loss runs, property details, farm appraisals, construction estimates, and supporting documentation.Communicates directly with clients and prospects, as needed, to obtain additional underwriting information, clarify account details, and secure documentation needed to complete submissions.

Marketing & Submissions Prepares, rates, and submits new poultry and agribusiness opportunities to appropriate carrier markets, utilizing carrier rating systems and underwriting platforms to obtain accurate and competitive quotes.Coordinates renewal remarketing requests, including reviewing existing coverage, obtaining updated underwriting information, and preparing submissions to alternative carrier markets.Partners with producers and account managers to identify appropriate carrier markets and determine marketing strategies for new and renewal business.Maintains strong working relationships with carrier underwriters and marketing representatives to facilitate timely submissions and responses.

Quote Evaluation & Renewal Proposals Reviews and evaluates carrier quotes for coverage accuracy, pricing, deductibles, exclusions, and underwriting requirements.Identifies potential coverage gaps or concerns and communicates recommendations to the producer or account manager.Provides completed renewal remarketing quotes and supporting information to the assigned account manager for client presentation, finalization, and binding.
