Welder

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our production team.

This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of various components used in the repair of transformers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with metal fabrication, welding techniques, and can interpret engineering drawings to ensure high-quality and precise builds.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Comply with all company, facility, equipment, OSHA, EPA, and other industry and/or customer safety.

• Follow Quality Management System (OMS) policy and procedure Ensure products meet company and customer quality requirements, are built on time and: per budget.

• Work with engineers and suppliers so drawings, products, and components are compliant to requirements Work Cell Welding - Welding transformer and mobile controls components according to released drawings and assembly instructions Examine blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements for layouts and procedures.

Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on project requirements.

Set up components for welding according to requirements and specifications.

Weld components using in various positions (vertical., horizontal, overhead) Repair lavaliers and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

General Maintain records and reports concerning welding accessories and product inconsistencies.

Use various equipment and hand tools safely with Personal Protection Equipment on assigned tasks.

Identify any inventory tools, parts, and supplies required Perform other related duties as assigned.
