Engineering Intern

JOB TYPE: Temporary Position Hourly Salary: $28.04/hour CLOSING: November 30, 2026 or until position is filled Position: The Solano County Water Agency is recruiting for two Engineering internship positions.

The job duties are described below.

Job Description: This is a temporary position providing engineering support in the field of water resources.

The position will provide direct support to the Engineering team.

The position will not exceed 40 hours/week or 1,000 hours in a year.

Job duties include but are not limited to: · Conducting site visits.

· The use of various equipment and/or instruments for field data collection.

· Tabulating data by use of excel and/or other database systems.

· Assisting with land surveying/mapping of water resource features including creeks, canals and other topographic features.

· Assisting staff with a variety of field and administrative activities.

· Digitizing historic water operations, photographs, and other important documents.

· Assisting with the preparation of engineering documents including designs, specifications, and estimates.

· Other engineering related duties as assigned.
