Production Associate I

The Production Associate I performs functions including trimming, grinding, packaging, labeling, and recordkeeping.

This position is an entry level position and responsible for rotating between a limited number of functional areas.

Responsibilities & Duties Follow instructions given by the managerGather, arrange, and sort materialsProcess materials into finished goodsPerform quality control checks and ensure uniformityPackage finished goods in store ready packagingLabel all items, SRPs, and batches accuratelyProduces the required quantity of products within established timeframes and specificationsMaintain production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports Compliant with company SOPs and state regulationsMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to managementBehave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamworkPerforms other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Must be at least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience working in production, manufacturing, or food service preferredMust have reliable transportationMust be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations Competencies Attendance & PunctualityDependability & FlexibilityPositive, Productive, Cooperative, and Encourages TeamworkInterpersonal CommunicationResults Focused Physical Requirements Frequent repetitive hand motionManual dexterity is needed for manipulating food items and tools.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time (8+ hours)Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, including hot and cold items.Ability to push and pull.Visual acuity is needed to accurately read small screens and labels.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.52 Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range.

Offers will be provided in accordance with state-specific minimum wage guidelines.
