Social Value Executive

This is a home-based role but with an expectation you will travel up north so ideally you will be located in Greater Manchester, Nottinghamshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire or North Yorkshire.

The Social Value Executive supports the delivery of contractual social value, embedding and continuous improvement of social value across the organisation at a regional level, focused on enabling colleagues, functions and partners to deliver against contractual social value commitments.

The Executive works collaboratively with operational, corporate and external stakeholders to embed social value into everyday business activity, strengthen community and supply chain outcomes, and ensure consistent monitoring, reporting and learning across the organisation.

The role is to support delivery of social value initiatives across the Region on multiple contracts.

Travel will be required to locations across the regional contract areas, to support in driving key delivery activities.

You will play a supportive role in coordinating and delivering social value activities to ensure social value is ‘brought to life’ across the contracts within our organisation.

Your role will require you to maintain working relationships with various external organisations with the aim of providing tangible and measurable benefit to the local communities in which we operate.

Specific Accountabilities:


* Embed and champion social value across the organisation by supporting delivery of corporate commitments, driving best practice and continuous improvement internally and across the supply chain, and contributing to organisation-wide initiatives and programmes.


* Build strong internal and external relationships to enable teams to deliver meaningful social value outcomes aligned with corporate priorities and local community needs.


* Support volunteering, inclusive employment, wellbeing and education initiatives by coordinating employee volunteering, working with HR and recruitment on diverse hiring and community partnerships, contributing to wellbeing activity, and supporting programmes that enable future employment opportunities.


* Collect, assure and report social value data across the business by maintaining robust monitoring frameworks, contributing to organisational reporting, and sharing learning and opportunities for continuous improvement.
