Salesperson - Agricultural Retail & Grower Markets Location: Fresno Based, covering California Compensation: $70,000-85,000 base salary + commission Expected first years earnings $90,000-$110,000 annual Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We're seeking an experienced salesperson with a history in agriculture, whether selling to retailers, growers, or others.

Your history and understanding of agricultural practices will make working with our prospective customers more natural.

In this role, you'll build strong relationships and help prospective customers identify the value of our services for their operation.

You'll be the bridge between our technology and the people who rely on it to drive real results in the field.

If you grew up on a farm, or have worked in ag, and understand how large farming operations function you may be suited for this role.

What You'll Do Business Development: Proactively prospect for opportunities in the ag retail and grower segments as well as in other industries.

You'll manage the full sales cycle from lead development to closing.

Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of prospective customer goals and advise them on best practices to maximize ROI of our services.

Data Driven Management: Track key activities and success metrics to identify opportunities for growth or improvement.

Remain coachable and trainable: If you think you've got it figured out and expect to be the teacher only, we may not be the right fit.

What We're Looking For Agricultural background strictly required: experience in ag retail, agronomy, crop production, or related sectors is a strong plus, but growing up around farming might be enough with a strong sales background; let's talk.

Agronomy / PCA background: Valuable but not strictly required.

Executive level communication skills: You can clearly and confidently speak with high-level leaders, business owners, and technical users alike.

Proven computer and software proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple systems, and learning new tools.

Highly organized - Able to manage multiple opportunities and related tasks in disparate arenas simultaneously.

Hunter mindset: You enjoy the hunt and have a history of success at it.
