Flat Storage Crew - 12-Hour Night Shift

The Flat Storage employee is responsible for assisting with the receiving, handling, processing, and movement of bulk ingredients and warehouse materials associated with the Feed Mill.

This position operates heavy equipment and processing machinery to safely unload, transport, and process bulk products before they are delivered to the Feed Mill for further processing.

The position also assists with the breakdown and disposal of boxes and other packaging materials.

This is a physically demanding position performed in a non-climate-controlled environment and may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and various feed ingredients.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 5:30 pm - 5:30 am, 4-3 rotation.

Essential Job Functions The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Receive and unload bulk ingredient deliveries from trucks using appropriate material-handling equipment.

Operate equipment including forklifts, tractors, feed mixers, turbo separators, and grinders to safely move and process bulk ingredients.

Process bulk ingredients according to established procedures and ensure products are delivered to the Feed Mill in a timely manner.

Operate equipment such as box cutters and balers to break down and process boxes, containers, and other packaging materials.

Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly dispose of processed materials and waste.

Monitor equipment and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns promptly to management.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment and working around machinery, vehicles, and other hazards.

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.

Work collaboratively with team members while also performing assigned tasks independently.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.
