Manager of Construction Reports to: Director of Constrcution Location:Phoenix, AZ Position Summary: Wecom Fiber is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Construction to provide strategic leadership and enterprise-wide oversight of all Outside Plant (OSP) and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction activities across our growing Arizona network.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in large-scale fiber deployment, proven ability to manage Construction Managers and contractor workforces, and a track record of standardizing construction practices across multiple build programs.

This role is critical to ensuring that all construction activities are delivered safely, on-schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency throughout the construction organization.

Key Responsibilities: Provide senior leadership and oversight for all aspects of OSP and FTTH construction activities across Wecom Fibers Arizona territory, including aerial, underground, direct buried, and building-entry applications.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Construction Managers and Contract Administrators through coaching, performance management, and professional development planning.

Standardize construction practices, workflows, and quality standards across all build types and programs (FTTH, MDU, commercial, and network expansion).

Own and manage capital and expense budgets for OSP construction projects; conduct ongoing budget-to-actuals analysis and ensure financial accountability across all active projects.

Scale and manage the contractor workforce to meet current and future build program demands; oversee bidding, vendor selection, and contract negotiation processes.

Align internal and external construction teams with Engineering, Design, and Permitting departments to drive efficiencies, shorten project durations, and reduce change requests.

Oversee development, coordination, and execution of enterprise-level project schedules; proactively identify and resolve construction roadblocks and escalated issues.
