Transitions Job Coach- Project Search

Provide individualized support for students to acquire competitive and marketable employment skills.Utilize effective support techniques including prompting, fading, and appropriate accommodations based on student need.Provide job development activities to secure job sites for placements and job shadowing experiences.Communicate with all parties to ensure student and programmatic success.Collect, evaluate, and report student performance.Maintain and submit documentation as required.Work with school staff for student support and growth.Network with local businesses for programmatic activities and student employment opportunities.Provide job coaching for students placed in community employment.Trains students in the areas of grooming, hygiene, communication, interviewing, and behavior as they relate to successful employment.Assist families and students in identifying and accessing services.Assist in transportation arrangements for employees who are placed in community and/or transport as needed.Stay informed about program performance expectations and stay current on trends in youth and workforce development.Acts as a positive role model.Maintains a safe work environment.
