Bilingual Clinician

Delivers culturally responsive, trauma-informed psychotherapy and care coordination in two languages (e.g., English/Spanish) under BBS-eligible supervision.

Balances direct care, documentation quality, and ethical practice while advancing toward licensure requirements and driving patient access, engagement, and outcomes.

Essential Job Responsibilities Direct Care & Engagement Provide individual, family, and group therapy (scope consistent with BBS registration and payer rules).

Complete biopsychosocial assessments, safety plans, treatment plans, and progress notes on time.

Conduct risk screenings and escalate to supervisor per protocol (suicide risk, abuse/neglect, duty to protect).

Coordinate care with internal teams (psychiatry, case management) and external partners (schools, PCPs, CBOs).

Deliver services via in-person and telehealth; maintain a professional, private environment for remote care.

Bilingual Service Delivery Offer clinical services in English and Spanish (or designated languages) using culturally humble, patient-centered approaches.

Provide interpretation only within policy boundaries (clinical care vs.

administrative translation); use approved tools/forms.

Documentation, Quality & Compliance Document all services in the EHR (e.g., TherapyNotes) within 72 hours; link diagnoses, codes, and medical necessity elements per payer.

Follow HIPAA/PHI safeguards, privacy practices, and mandatory reporting requirements.

Participate in chart audits; resolve defects and implement corrective actions.

Supervision & Development Maintain active BBS registration (AMFT/APCC/ASW or Trainee status) in good standing.

Attend and prepare for required individual/group supervision; maintain weekly supervision logs and learning goals.

Integrate supervisor feedback; complete required trainings (Law & Ethics, HIPAA, safety, EBPs).

Access, Throughput & Teaming Maintain productivity/encounter targets; manage cancellations/no-shows using reminder, outreach, and same-day fill strategies.

Participate in huddles, case conferences, and in-services; share trends and solutions.

Uphold MindDivers valuesprofessionalism, empathy, accountability, and teamwork.

Standard of Care Note: Where payer, BBS, and MindDivers standards differ, the stricter requirement controls.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Documentation: = __% of notes closed in 72 hrs; audit pass rate = target.

Access/Throughput: Kept-appointment rate and same-day fill at/above target.

Quality/Safety: Timely risk escalations; zero substantiated PHI breaches.

Engagement: Treatment plans updated on schedule; measurable movement toward goals.

Supervision Hygiene: 100% on-time supervision; complete weekly logs; no lapses in BBS registration.

Required Qualifications Masters degree in a qualifying behavioral-health field (MFT, PCC, MSW, or equivalent).

Bilingual fluency (spoken and written) in English and Spanish (or designated second language); pass language assessment if required.
