Material Handler - Food Distribution

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 


* Mon 7:00am – 4:00pm 


* Tues: 7:00am-2:00pm 


* Wed: 7:00am – 4:00pm 


* Thurs: 7:00am-2:00pm 


* Fri: 7:00 AM-3:00PM


* This is a temporary position, expecting to last 2-3 months

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Distribution Associate - Dry Goods to join our warehouse team.

In this role, you will help fulfill customer orders, stock and organize inventory, load and unload deliveries, and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Candidates should have forklift certification and be comfortable performing physical labor in a fast-paced distribution setting.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Pick, pack, and fill customer orders accurately and efficiently


* Stock, organize, and restock warehouse inventory


* Load and unload trucks using manual labor and forklifts


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse


* Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections


* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely


* Assist in other warehouse and distribution areas as needed

  

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education:


* A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications:


* Forklift certification required


* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

* Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred

Other:


* Ability to lift and move dry goods or wet goods up to 75 lbs.
