The Senior Data Governance Analyst is a senior-level position that sits within the FRFS Data Office, and is responsible for leading the implementation and monitoring of data governance policies and analytics frameworks within FRFS.

You'll operationalize governance through platform configuration, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position is considered advanced level and performs work of moderate to high complexity.

The incumbent works under general supervision and may lead some efforts autonomously.

This job does not have any direct reports but may lead the work of junior staff.

Your Responsibilities

Data Governance Strategy and Policy


* Develop, maintain, and implement data governance policies, processes, and procedures aligned with business objectives


* Enforce activities ensuring compliance with data governance policies and target goals

Platform Administration & Configuration


* Configure and administer data governance platforms (Collibra, Immuta) to operationalize workflows


* Design governance workflows, approval processes, and stewardship assignments


* Create and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation


* Maintain information maps, retention schedules, and data catalogs

Data Quality & Analysis


* Perform in-depth research and analysis to identify data quality issues, relations, and dependencies


* Partner with data owners to map data structures, usage, and definitions within catalog platforms

Collaboration & Leadership


* Facilitate implementation of common data management practices across the organization


* Participate in and may lead Federal Reserve System (FRS) workgroups
