Your role: Senior Workday Integrations Product Engineer
 

We are looking for an experienced Workday Integrations Product Engineer to join our engineering organization and help design, build, operate, and continuously improve the integration ecosystem supporting our global workforce.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on Workday integration development, architecture, automation, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities:  


* Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robust integrations between Workday and enterprise applications using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, PECI, WECI, and middleware technologies like Boomi or cloud services.


* Design scalable, secure, and maintainable integration patterns based on business requirements, data volumes, security needs, and reliability standards.


* Perform integration analysis, data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.


* Contribute to the evolution of the overall Workday integration architecture, establishing reusable patterns, engineering standards, best practices, and conducting technical design reviews.


* Identify opportunities to simplify existing integrations, modernize legacy workflows, and reduce technical debt across the HR technology ecosystem.


* Apply strong software engineering principles including version control, peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and structured release management.


* Build integrations with observability, operational resilience, proactive monitoring, alerting, logging, automated recovery, and self-healing error handling by design.


* Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and continuously improve integration performance and supportability.


* Ensure all integrations strictly comply with enterprise security, privacy, and data governance standards, implementing robust authentication, authorization, encryption, auditability, and secure data transfers.
