Sr. Telecommunications Network Engineer

Serve as the technical lead for telecommunications engineering, network analysis, customer requirements development, transition planning, and technical acquisition support.

Provide engineering expertise to ensure successful transitions, technical feasibility, and modernization of telecommunications services.

Occasional Travel may be requiredto Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Position Responsibilities: Evaluate existing telecommunications and network service configurations.

Develop and document customer technical requirements and network performance requirements.

Support development of customer PWSs, bid models, technical evaluation plans, IGCEs, and related acquisition artifacts.

Analyze transition strategies and recommend technical solutions and alternatives.

Support Fair Opportunity competitions and customer network transition planning.

Coordinate with Government personnel, vendors, and customers to resolve technical issues.

Support cutover planning, implementation activities, and transition troubleshooting.

Provide recommendations on emerging technologies and telecommunications modernization opportunities.
