Custodian

JOB SUMMARY The Custodian role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and exterior areas.

This position also assists with basic building upkeep, and monitoring facility supplies.

This role requires self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks in a manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.

· Clean and restock restrooms.

· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean common areas as needed.

· Maintain cleanliness around building entrances and exterior areas.

· Replace HVAC and other facility filters according to schedule.

· Monitor and restock janitorial, restroom, and general facility supplies.

· Clean breakrooms and other shared employee areas.

· Perform basic building maintenance and minor repairs as appropriate.

· Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns.

· Assist with seasonal exterior upkeep and other facility-related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS · High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Clean driving record.

· Previous maintenance, janitorial, or facility support experience preferred.

· Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance preferred.

· Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

· Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to assist in a variety of facility-related tasks.

· Ability to lift, move, and transport materials and equipment as needed.

· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Status: Full-time/non-exempt Department: Ops / Admin Reports to: Operations Manager / Controller Hours: Designated, 1st shift Pay: $20-23 per hour
