Resident Transportation Driver (Full-time Day Shift) Opportunity at Washington Healthcare!

Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Hours may fluctuate based on resident appointments and transportation needs. 

Looking for a driving position where you can make a difference in someone’s day? Washington Healthcare is looking for a dependable and friendly Resident Transportation Driver to provide safe transportation for our residents to medical appointments, community outings, activities, and other destinations.

What You'll Do



* Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, activities, and other community destinations.


* Assist residents safely on and off the bus, including residents who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.


* Safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs, and other transportation equipment.


* Coordinate resident drop-offs and pick-ups with the Bethany Village team.


* Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized, and ready for transportation.


* Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or repair needs.


* Assist the Activities team with resident outings, events, and activities as needed.


* Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience for residents while traveling.

Requirements



* Must be at least 25 years of age.


* Current driver's license in good standing.


* High school diploma/GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


* CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
