Production Operator II

The Production Operator IIis responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment used in the manufacturing of photovoltaic solar modules.

This role utilizes computer-controlled equipment to perform routine production tasks according to established procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.

The Production Operator II monitors equipment performance, responds to alarms, adjusts machine settings as needed, and ensures products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Sets up and operate production equipment to produce various commercial products following specifications, blueprints, and diagrams.Monitors production output to ensure quality and conformance to required metrics.Maintains accurate records of production activities, reporting any inconsistencies or equipment issues in a timely manner.Adheres to established safety procedures, including material handling guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment.Interfaces with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarmsMonitors process data & makes decisions based on procedures to maintain process controlRecognizes conditions the require escalation and provide communication on the issuesCollects data and provides reporting when requested or as neededProvide communication with team members and leadership during shift changesEnsures waste is discarded timely and appropriatelyAssists new employees and supervisors/leaders in achieving their tasks and work targets.

Performs temporary job reassignments as needed.Executes work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist the team in meeting production goals.Perform other related duties as assigned.
