Sanitation Technician- 1st Shift
Position Summary: Coordinates with production employees daily to ensure Sanitation protocols, MSS and HACCP systems are followed, executed and documented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the Sanitation Supervisor in leading and directing the activities of the Sanitation Technicians.Completes a nightly cleaning check to ensure all areas and equipment are ready to meet pre-operations goals established by QA Manager.Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of Claremont Foods facilities.Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually.Informs Facility Maintenance Manager of all repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all operational equipment through continuous daily inspections.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: 6AM-6PM Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
and occasionally lift or carry 51-100+ lbs.Must have the ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs.
and occasionally push or pull 51-100 lbs.Must be able to use an electronic device to input daily communications.Must be able to constantly walk and stand for the duration of the work shift.Must be able to frequently use fine motor manipulations, grip, squat, kneel, bend, twist, turn, reach outward, and reach above chest.Must be able to occasionally crawl and climb as needed.
