Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Infusion Services

Work Schedule:
Day/Evening Shifts.

Hours vary 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

Saturdays may be required on a rotational basis 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:


* Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, and compliance; provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.


* Adapt to a changing environment, demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to complete any work within the scope of the role.


* Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience.

Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred.

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience


* 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school.

* Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required


* Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
