What You'll Do

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented therapy.

Key responsibilities include:


* Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.


* Help residents improve independence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and functional mobility.


* Evaluate resident progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.


* Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).


* Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.


* Participate in Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review meetings.


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.


* Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and families.


* Assist with safe and effective discharge planning.


* Communicate with physicians regarding treatment updates, resident progress, and care recommendations.

Qualifications


* Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
