Work You'll Do

As a Tax Manager within the Business Tax Services group, you will provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to large global and dynamic midsize clients across industries.

You'll work directly with clients, lead tax engagement teams, collaborate with Deloitte specialists, and receive support from firm leadership as you grow your career.

In this role, you will build and maintain strong client relationships across federal tax consulting and compliance engagements.

You will advise clients on accounting for income taxes, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax compliance, federal tax planning involving periods, methods, and credits, business restructuring, and tax controversy.

You will oversee complex federal tax projects involving multiple entities and affiliates, applying technical tax knowledge and business judgment to analyze issues and develop practical recommendations.

You will manage engagement workflow, team resources, timelines, and billing while maintaining high standards for quality and client service.

You will also lead, coach, and counsel engagement team members, providing feedback and career guidance that supports their development and motivation.

By combining technical expertise, client service, project leadership, and people development, you will help clients navigate tax complexity and make informed business decisions.
