Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated nursing team on the NOC shift.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: NOC Shift
Schedule: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off
Pay Rate: $48.00-$55.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

The RN will provide professional nursing care to residents while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during the overnight shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.


* Assess residents' conditions and promptly identify changes in health status.


* Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.


* Monitor vital signs and document resident care and progress.


* Respond appropriately to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.


* Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.


* Supervise and provide direction to CNAs and other nursing staff as appropriate.


* Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation.


* Participate in care planning and contribute to quality resident outcomes.


* Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.


* Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.


* Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.


* Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred.


* Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.


* Reliable, compassionate, professional, and resident-focused.


* Current CPR certification preferred.
